Consultant Engineer Location Hampshire salary negotiable
A Consultant Engineer role has been created due to the need to increase the knowledge base in the area of High Speed Digital Design. The Consultant Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks.
Full PCB design process,
Estimating time and size of all high speed PCB design tasks for bid and project management purposes,
Schematic capture of PCB,
Supervision of CAD Layout Engineer for High Speed PCB Design,
Simulation of Signal Integrity,
Test and Integration of High Speed PCB Design.
The right candidate for the role of Consutant Engineer Education should have a minimum of honours degree 2.1 in Physics*Electrical*Electronics. Have have a track record of a high speed PCB design (ideally 10GHz, preferable at least 2GHz) minimum of very good knowledge at 600MHz .Full PCB development cycle. Signal integrity engineering in the 2 to 10 gigabit data range. Knowledge of current high speed device, interface and PCB design techniques. Some form of simulator. knowledge i.e. Hspice or Hyper-lynx.
